Welcome to the weird and amazing world of cult movies - where strange and uncommon story plots are ready to mess with your brain, but in a good way though.

The main purpose of this website is to present some good movies, that haven’t always got its deserved coverage through the media or they are cult classics that no one should miss. The goal is to give you as a movie enthusiast a broader perspective of films.

My definition of cult movies

I am going to include an occasional mainstream movie on the site. But they are cult because they break all the rules of storytelling and normally no-one appreciates the movie until years after their initial release.

I don’t define a cult movie as an independent film or low budget film alone, but a film that has a heavy/unlimited budget I don’t consider a cult movie.

The Purpose of the site

You can use the site for whatever you want but it is useful for two known purposes; to learn about the films listed on the site and the other purpose is for you to be able to find a fun, weird or an interesting cult movie to watch.

Some movies on the site are going to be hard to find in the offline world but most will be available on sites such as Amazon.

Though this cult movie site is mostly to promote quality movies I’m going to have a category for bad movies; films that are soooo… bad that they are a must see just for the sake of it :)

On every category, such as drama, comedy, etc. you have the possibility to add a page about a cult movie or even a list of cult movies that’s not here yet. Just remember if the movie is really bad, post it in the bad movies’ section.
